I am obsessed with the denim in my wardrobe right now. Ok, so that denim is currently only the six or seven pairs of jeans I own they are all I want to wear right now and I am currently planning how to add a little more denim in different shapes and guises to the collection for Autumn Winter 2011.

To make things easier, I’ve hunted out some denim options for any budget, so that you too can work the denim trend this season:
If you want to work the actual trend, try this:
If your budget doesn’t quite stretch to catwalk pieces, how about those inspired by the catwalk?

Why not rock a denim shirt dress with a pair of cowboy boots or fringed over-the-knee boots? Like this denim dress from NW3 (via John Lewis) or this Whistles denim shirt dress (also via John Lewis). Alternatively, if all denim isn’t quite your thing, try this Dorothy Perkins denim t-shirt with a bright colour pop pleated skirt.
Of course, you could always go for the double-denim look and team the tee with any of these fabulous jeans from Donna Ida’s denim boutique:
Clockwise from top left: J Brand 901 Skinny Legging; Citizens of Humanity Avedon Skinny Jeans; MiH Jeans Skirt; J Brand 811 Skinny Jeans; and Goldsign Sissi Flare Jeans.
How will you be wearing the denim trend this autumn? For all your denim inspiration needs, check out the fabulous blog – that I am absolutely obsessed with – eat, sleep, denim.

I love denim, too! I’m on the lookout for a nice, 70′s inspired skirt for the moment:)
I don’t really wear alot of denim but I do love the dotty P’s shirt, may have to inviest
I love that Dorothy Perkins denim T with the pockets – very cute. Not sure I would do double denim but definitely would like some more flares for winter. Although maybe in a rich wine red. Gorgeous! xx
I love the first picture where it is teamed with the snakeskin, I am crazy about snakeskin at the moment x
Love that Dorothy Perkins denim tee–and such a reasonable price (though I think it might be easy to sew up, too…)
The denim shirt and dress you chose are quite easy to layer! I’m always a bit of a denim-jacket and jeans girl, so I never thought outside of the circle. Thanks for the suggestions!
